Sports Partnership News - January 2024

The start of a new year 2024 will bring opportunity for schools to attend our upcoming sports events and competitions. We have a busy and exciting term ahead of us - Wake and Shake, Cross County and Infant Agility are just a few of the competitions that our local primary schools are preparing for.

So far this school year, our younger children have had the opportunity to develop their basketball skills - helped by the Herne Bay High School Leaders and Herne Bay Basketball Club the children learnt ball handling and shooting skills, finishing off the event with small games of basketball!

Our Uni Hoc Cornerball was an exciting event for children who enjoy physical activity but who do not compete. This event gave them the experience of competition in fun and friendly games, with lots of opportunity for the children to explore their capabilities and be part of a team!
