Term 3 has seen our Year 11 GCSE Religious Studies students visit Fort Amherst to take part in an evening ghost hunt as part of their studies into assessing the evidence for the existence of the afterlife. Students were treated to a tour of the 400 year old fort and tunnels, heard ghost stories connected to the paranormal activity reported at the site, and were able to see if they could capture anything spooky. Despite the cold weather students thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

This term Year 8 Geography and RE students have been looking at India, and specifically in RE lessons, the work of Mother Teresa. Students used their knowledge from both subjects to write a letter from Mother Teresa about working with the poor and needy. Mr Dacombe was particularly impressed with his classes letters and how students had utilised their knowledge and learning from Geography to enhance their work. Well done to all students who were awarded certificates for their excellent writing skills.
